Lead

We are seeking a talented, self-motivating, and hands-on Java Technical Lead to support the needs of growing eCommerce platforms.

Your tasks will include:

Leading and working collaboratively as part of a team.
Writing high-quality Java code (Java 11).
Full ownership over-developed products including architecture design, choosing technology, maintenance, contacting stakeholders, and presentations.
Mentoring team members.

Degree in computer sciences, coding, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in Java-based programming. Significant coding skills in Java, with other languages being a major plus.
3+ years experience working on high traffic systems.
Experience implementing and managing elaborate integrations with third-party APIs.
Experience with GCP and Pub/Sub.
Experience of the full SDLC in a collaborative, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment. Experienced in software development methodologies.
The ability to multitask.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Proactive in working with other developers and assist junior team members.
Proactive in support and assist other engineers in design and development of solutions.
Vocal and communicative in team meetings and in providing feedback to product person and other team members.
